Meta Platforms launched Muse Code, its first programming agent, positioning the
company to compete with Anthropic and OpenAI. The beta/preview tool lets
developers build and manage AI-driven agents in a single interface and is
compatible with Meta’s Muse Spark 1.2 model. Development is led by Alexandr Wang
at the Meta Super Intelligence Lab, which oversees base-model work. Muse Code is
available to developers on a pay-as-you-go API; pricing mirrors Muse Spark 1.1
at $1.25 per 1M input tokens and $4.25 per 1M output tokens.
