At the opening of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with gold and silver futures rising over 4%, alumina and palladium rising over 2%, platinum, tin, and zinc rising nearly 2%, iron ore, lithium carbonate, and cotton rising over 1%, and coking coal rising nearly 1%. On the downside, propylene, benzene, ethylene glycol (EG), methanol, and styrene (EB) fell over 3%, while polypropylene, PTA, and bottled glass futures fell nearly 3%.
