At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with gold and silver futures rising over 3%, red dates and iron ore rising over 2%, coking coal and live hogs rising nearly 2%, and platinum and palladium rising over 1%. On the downside, methanol fell over 3%, propylene fell nearly 3%, nickel, polypropylene (monthly average), polypropylene, benzene, and styrene (EB) fell over 2%, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fell nearly 2%.
