Trump seeks Warsh's advice on a range of issues, including the Iran war and the economic impact of the rapid rise of artificial intelligence." Previously, US Treasury Secretary Bessen specifically named Nick, stating that one of the highlights of Warsh's tenure at the Fed was seeing stenographers posing as journalists, such as Nick Timuraos of the Wall Street Journal (formerly known as the "Federal Reserve mouthpiece"), reduced to reporting only behind-the-scenes gossip about the Fed, because without someone to feed them information, they couldn't produce genuine economic or monetary policy analysis.
