Kpler data show the UAE shipped more crude through the Strait of Hormuz over the past two months than any other producer, supplying a needed buffer to a global market facing a historic energy shock. A VLCC carrying Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) crude switched off its AIS at end‑July and reappeared in the Gulf of Oman on Tuesday, Kpler said. The ship is one of dozens leaving the Persian Gulf after ADNOC launched a new sales strategy; traders say ADNOC has sold over 130 mln barrels via seven unprecedented tenders since early June.
