Italy's foreign minister said he spoke with Iran's foreign minister, who
described negotiations with Oman to reopen commercial navigation in the Strait
of Hormuz. The Italian minister said he reiterated the need for continued
dialogue to rapidly find a political solution and avoid further escalation with
the United States.
