A Houthi spokesman said forces launched a large-scale, precision operation using
ballistic missiles and drones against Saudi concentrations at Ruwaik, Abal,
Saniya and other camps tied to the 1st and 3rd Emergency Brigades. The group
said the strikes killed or wounded hundreds of Saudi mercenaries, destroyed and
burned numerous camps, concentration points, warehouses and weapons in the
eastern Wadi'a area, and destroyed large numbers of military vehicles at the
targeted sites. The spokesman warned Saudi Arabia not to carry out any
aggression against Yemen or its people, saying it would bear the consequences of
any escalation.
