Anhui Quantum Computing Chip Key Laboratory says a joint team from Benyuan Quantum and the University of Science and Technology of China proposed a parameter-space-extended controlled-phase gate (PSE-CZ) that addresses the long-standing speed versus fidelity constraint in superconducting quantum computing, enabling faster two-qubit gates with substantially higher precision. The results are published in Physical Review Letters and were experimentally validated on China’s domestically developed superconducting quantum computer "Benyuan Wukong".
