Haichen Energy Storage’s Heze plant has begun mass production, completing a full-chain rollout from materials and cells to modules, systems and delivery. The base, with total investment exceeding 13 billion yuan, targets annual output at full capacity of 30 GWh of 1,175 Ah long-duration cells and 20 GWh of systems built from 6.25 MWh units. The facility uses fifth-generation smart manufacturing lines and, the company says, has achieved an industry-first single-line capacity above 15 GWh. Haichen, which focuses on 4–8 hour applications, said its scale will push global lithium long-duration energy storage into large-scale deliveries.
