China and Belarus will hold 'Shenying-2026' airborne joint training in Hubei in
mid‑to‑late August, the Chinese defense ministry said. Focused on joint urban
counterterrorism operations, the drills will practice reconnaissance and
counter‑reconnaissance, seizure and defense, and clearing and holding. This is
the fourth iteration of the series and is aimed at improving participating
units' combat readiness and deepening bilateral military cooperation.
