data-center construction and said that would be a mistake. He added he was not
taking a formal position but noted communities that welcome data centers draw
substantial capital inflows, that some data centers are striking buildings, and
that they are economically important; if Texas says no, he said, it would be an
error because data centers may be more important than oil.
