The BDI climbed 32 points (1.1%) to 3,089, its highest since June 3, and gained 13.1% for the week. The Capesize index rose 76 points (1.5%) to 5,128, its highest since June 4, up 19.4% for the week; Capesize daily earnings increased $696 to $43,009. The Panamax index rose 23 points (1.0%) to 2,298, its highest since June 3, up 10.1% for the week; Panamax daily earnings rose $211 to $20,684. The Supramax index fell 5 points (0.3%) to 1,603, its lowest since June 8, down 0.4% for the week.
