China Railway Shanghai Bureau said it has activated typhoon and flood emergency
response and will temporarily suspend certain trains passing sections of
multiple Yangtze River Delta lines to ensure transport and passenger safety.
Planned suspensions: Aug 9–10 on Qu‑Jiu, Hu‑Kun (Shanghai–Kunming) and Xiao‑Yong
lines; Aug 9–11 on Qu‑Ning and Yong‑Jin lines; Aug 9–12 on Jin‑Qian line; and
Aug 9–13 on Wan‑Gan line. Measures apply to specific sections and time windows
and will affect regional passenger and freight flows.
