The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration on Aug. 6 issued an airworthiness directive covering three Boeing models, estimated to affect 471 U.S.-registered aircraft. The FAA said it received reports of fuselage cracks on some aircraft that could adversely affect structural integrity and is requiring inspections. The directive takes effect Sept. 10.
