At his inauguration in Cali on the 7th, Colombia's new president said the
government will soon publish a list of drug‑terror organizations and step up
efforts against drug crime. He said restoring national security and state
authority is a priority, ordering the forces armed and police to target all
criminal gangs and to combat drug activity including through eradication of
illegal crops.
