At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Shanghai silver and soda ash rose over 3%, lithium carbonate and Shanghai gold rose over 2%, and propylene, fuel oil, benzene, and coking coal rose over 1.4%. On the downside, container shipping to Europe fell over 4%, polysilicon fell over 2%, and PTA fell nearly 2%.
