The PBOC issued its '15th Five‑Year' reform and development plan, calling for a
rationally distributed, well‑governed, advanced, reliable and resilient
financial infrastructure system. Key measures include improving central bank
service quality and efficiency; upgrading financial statistics, payments,
treasury and cash‑service systems; steady development of the digital currency;
promotion of high‑quality credit‑reporting services; strengthened
anti‑money‑laundering supervision; and reinforcing legal and digital governance
of central‑bank functions.
