An Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson said: "Talks with Oman are progressing
smoothly, but some parties are attempting to obstruct the process. The situation
in the Strait of Hormuz depends on US actions and on whether the US reverses its
violations. A maritime blockade against Iran is an act of aggression. The Strait
of Hormuz remained open from antiquity until the war that began this year."
