Anthropic stated that they had an unreleased research version of Claude attempt to solve the Riemann Hypothesis. Although Claude failed to prove this famous mathematical conjecture, it made progress on related problems, raising the lower bound on the proportion of zeros of the Riemann zeta function that satisfy the Riemann Hypothesis from 41.6% to 67.2%.
