Independent market researcher Smart Analytics Global estimates global humanoid robot shipments in 1H2026 at about 19,100 units, nearly 3x YoY. China-based manufacturers accounted for over 97% of shipments. Zhiyuan Robotics overtook Yushu Technology for the first time, shipping 8,400 units (44% of global shipments) versus Yushu’s 5,900. Shipments significantly exceeded volumes from Tesla and Figure AI. Industrial and commercial applications comprised over 70% of shipments, up from about 50% a year earlier.
