China A-shares reversed early gains to close lower: Shanghai Composite Index
-0.82%, Shenzhen Composite Index -0.40%, ChiNext Index +0.34%. Turnover on the
two exchanges topped 2.3 trillion yuan and more than 3,500 stocks fell.
Innovative-drug names were intermittently active, with Baihua Medical posting a
sixth straight daily limit-up. Robotics stocks surged in the afternoon and MLCC
names led sector gains. Non-ferrous metals fell broadly; Luoyang Molybdenum,
Zijin Mining and Chifeng Gold were notable decliners.
