At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts rose. Polysilicon rose over 4%, fuel oil rose over 3%, lithium carbonate and European shipping contracts rose nearly 3%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), synthetic rubber, and coking coal rose over 2%, and Shanghai silver rose nearly 2%. On the downside, glass fell nearly 2%, urea and palladium fell over 1%, and live hogs fell nearly 1%.
