On Aug. 12 in Beijing, Lin Honghong, vice chair of the China Council for the
Promotion of International Trade, met with Fan Yong, general manager of
government affairs, Greater China, Apple. They discussed measures to facilitate
foreign companies’ operations in China, Apple’s participation in 2026 APEC
business events, and stepped-up industry and supply‑chain cooperation.
