PBOC released its Q2 2026 monetary policy implementation report, saying it will continue a moderately loose monetary policy and support major projects investment. The central bank has arranged PSL quota to back policy and development finance institutions in issuing new policy-style financial instruments to supplement capital for major projects, with priority for the digital economy, artificial intelligence, consumption infrastructure and urban renewal projects including transport, energy and underground utility network upgrades. PSL outstanding at end-June: 0.8 tln yuan.
