The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) forecasts the U.S. soybean production for the 2026/2027 marketing year at 4.519 billion bushels in August, compared to market expectations of 4.472 billion bushels and the July forecast of 4.475 billion bushels. The U.S. soybean ending stocks for the 2026/2027 marketing year are forecasted at 320 million bushels in August, compared to market expectations of 304 million bushels and the July forecast of 310 million bushels. The U.S. soybean yield for the 2026/2027 marketing year is forecasted at 52.7 bushels per acre in August, compared to market expectations of 52.9 bushels per acre and the July forecast of 53 bushels per acre.
