At the close of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Glass fell nearly 3%, soda ash fell over 2%, alumina, cast aluminum, and coking coal fell over 1%, and urea, stainless steel (SS), and Shanghai aluminum fell nearly 1%. On the upside, synthetic rubber rose over 2%, pulp, methanol, and container shipping to Europe rose nearly 2%, and PTA, paraxylene, eggs, staple fiber, plastics, fuel oil, SC crude oil, and bottled glass rose over 1%.
