State Pipeline Network Group said on Aug. 13 the Lianyungang–Yizheng pipeline’s
Lianyungang–Huaian segment entered service in one phase. The line, the first
10‑million‑ton‑class crude pipeline to start operating in the 15th Five‑Year
Plan period, links to existing trunk lines to deliver crude to the eastern hub
at Yizheng. Peak daily throughput is 70,000 tons; the pipeline will supply
Jiangsu and Yangtze‑river refineries, widen supply channels, and support unified
allocation of imported crude and optimization of the national oil‑and‑gas “one
network” across central‑eastern China and the Yangtze Delta.
