Mustafa Hoshcheshm, a professor at Tehran University of Applied Sciences, stated that with the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz proving fruitless, US President Trump is seeking a way to end the conflict without acknowledging defeat. He pointed out that regardless of the actual battlefield situation, Trump never admits defeat and has been searching for an "exit route" to claim victory, but has repeatedly failed. Hoshcheshm stated that currently, the only ships passing through the strait use the Iranian route, indicating that Trump has long been defeated in this war.
He also revealed that Washington has ordered US embassies and consulates in the region to operate at a minimum, which may indicate that the US plans to launch a large-scale strike against Iran in the coming weeks or months.
