OpenAI has appointed Dali Rajic as chief revenue officer, its second CRO in
under a year, signaling a push to boost sales ahead of an anticipated Wall
Street listing. Rajic joins from Alphabet-backed cybersecurity firm Wiz, where
he was president and COO; he will replace the CRO who joined last December and
will depart after a transition. The move comes amid wider senior executive
turnover, including departures of Brad Lightcap, Fidji Simo and Kevin Weil.
President Greg Brockman said the company must keep proving each dollar of AI
spend delivers measurable commercial value; OpenAI said its annualized revenue
run rate rose more than 20% MoM in July and enterprise customer revenue grew
32%. OpenAI also reported weekly active users topped 1 billion last month.
