US officials told the Wall Street Journal the carrier USS Washington will rotate into the Middle East to relieve USS Lincoln under a planned swap. Lincoln has been on an extended deployment since November with few port calls and was redeployed to the region in January ahead of operations against Iran. Ukraine's air force said on the 12th it will stop publishing detailed data on Russian ballistic missile strikes, citing shortages of air-defence missiles as Kyiv struggles to cope with intensified air attacks. Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat said military leadership has revised the daily briefing for large-scale Russian strikes and will no longer disclose specific counts of missiles launched, intercepted or that missed their targets. Real-time alerts will continue and the military will still publish aggregate figures for missiles fired.
