Aug 14 — Guangdong launched its first token-economy specialist finance product,
Token Loan, in Haizhu district, Guangzhou. Bank of China’s Guangzhou branch has
introduced a compute-Token loan for Haizhu small-and-micro compute-capacity
firms, with credit limits set by contract or Token consumption; collateral
options include unsecured credit, accounts-receivable pledges and order
financing, and combinations of guarantees and mortgages to expand limits. New
firms can seek order-based financing if they provide continuous-operation
evidence from an existing operator or offer guarantees. Initial pilot credit
allocated by Bank of China reached 28 mln yuan.
