Hong Kong stocks fell; the Hang Seng Index closed down 1.1% at 25,116.85 and the
Hang Seng Tech Index slipped 1.77% to 4,707.62. Turnover was HKD 254.18 bln,
versus HKD 263.71 bln the prior session. Tech names underperformed all day—the
tech index briefly fell over 2% intraday—and AI application stocks plunged in
the afternoon. Semiconductors rallied early then gave back gains; nonferrous
