The CSRC said it sampled listed companies’ 2025 annual financial reports and issued an Accounting Regulatory Report. While most issuers demonstrated broad understanding and compliance with accounting standards and disclosure rules, the review identified accounting or disclosure errors in revenue recognition, financial instruments, long‑term equity investments and business combinations, asset impairment and R&D expense. The CSRC said it will implement directives from the Party Central Committee and the State Council and refine the supervisory framework for listed‑company financial disclosure; pursue follow‑up enforcement on review findings in line with law and regulation; coordinate regulators to unify supervisory standards on common problem areas; and step up practical guidance on market high‑profile and complex accounting issues to improve consistency and effectiveness in applying accounting standards and disclosure rules.
