The move follows Typhoon No.13 White Dolphin and recent heavy rainfall; the Taihu basin has seen a significant basin-wide flood and lake levels are forecast to continue rising slowly. Forecasts show heavy to very heavy rain in parts of eastern and southern Zhejiang on Aug. 15–16.
