Iran President Pezeshkian said on the 16th that a memorandum of understanding
signed with the United States two months ago to end the conflict was reached on
the basis of preserving Iran’s dignity and demonstrating strength, and did not
involve surrender to the enemy. He said the MoU was drafted after careful
consideration and expert discussion. IRNA reported the speaker of the Islamic
Consultative Assembly said on the 15th the Iran-US MoU wins national honor and
consolidates a diplomatic victory.
