Iran foreign ministry spokesman Baghaei said Washington's breach of the June 18
memorandum signed in Tehran has rendered the 60-day timeframe for
sanctions-relief and nuclear talks "completely meaningless." He said the
memorandum contained no explicit 60-day clause and the period could have been
extended if negotiations failed to reach agreement. Baghaei added talks never
started because the US "seriously and extensively" violated the pact weeks after
signing.
