CATL said at a press event in Ningde, Fujian that its core operations achieved carbon neutrality by end-2025, and it is the only battery maker at TWh-scale shipments to claim core-operational carbon neutrality. The company published its first value-chain carbon-neutral roadmap to 2035 and said the effort marks a shift from company-only measures to industry ecosystem co-construction. Chairman and CEO Zeng Yiqun said 20 battery plants have been certified under ISO14068-1 as zero-carbon factories and that 100% of core operational power use is zero-carbon.
