At its results briefing Minde Electronics said it adjusts prices in line with
market conditions. Several upstream silicon-wafer suppliers have indicated
willingness to raise prices in Q4; Guangxin Microelectronics will decide whether
to follow based on upstream developments and product-mix optimization. The
company expects power semiconductors to be in a cyclical upturn over the next
three years, leaving significant upside for prices. Price-rise magnitudes will
vary by product category; customers have generally accepted increases under
stable supply, and current prices remain low versus early 2023.
