Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center said it released what it calls the
world's first fully autonomous (no remote control) task-execution system for
complex language instruction sets using an extended field-of-view vision. The
center said the system — for which an invention patent has been granted —
addresses robots' prior inability to autonomously plan and decide in unfamiliar
environments and unifies a world model, VLA and other contemporary techniques.
In a demonstration video the center's ultra-lightweight humanoid Gongga-1
autonomously execute a single complex command, complete three sequential
sub-tasks without remote control.
