Xiaomi says its next-generation humanoid robot is about 1.7m tall, weighs 66kg
and has 66 degrees of freedom (DOF), with roughly half the DOF concentrated in
the hands. The unit is at prototype stage and will be exhibited in China first,
then shown in Europe. In 2022 Xiaomi unveiled a full-size humanoid robot Tieda
(1.77m, 52kg, 21 joint DOF), which debuted about two months before Tesla’s
Optimus prototype; Xiaomi has issued few public robotics updates since.
