At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts rose, with fuel oil up over 6%, coking coal up over 3%, starch and methanol up nearly 3%, and asphalt, synthetic rubber, coke, and corn up over 2%. On the downside, silver fell over 4%, lithium carbonate fell over 3%, and platinum and palladium fell nearly 3%.
