Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (ADNOC) plans to reduce crude deliveries to Asia
customers in August and September, two people familiar with the matter said,
prompting the benchmark Murban grade to trade as much as about $7/bbl above
Brent this week. The sources said spot supply will drop roughly 5%. The
reduction applies to OTC sales and does not affect physical barrels purchased
via the Abu Dhabi ICE. One source attributed the cut to planned maintenance at
Abu Dhabi onshore fields.
