An internal memo shows BofA has hired two managing directors to deepen its
technology-banking coverage. Asad Mahmood, formerly an MD at Barclays, will join
in the autumn to lead semiconductor and quantum-computing coverage from Palo
Alto, California. Gregory Reider joins this week to BofA’s Brazil technology
investment banking team to cover Latin American tech and fintech; Reider was
previously co-founder and managing partner of LatAm-focused VC firm Volpe
Capital. A BofA spokesperson confirmed the memo.
