She called recent events in the West Bank appalling and said France has already pushed for sanctions on settlers who commit violence and on entities, companies and organizations that support them. Barro also described recent remarks by Israeli national security minister Ben-Gvir on Gaza as unacceptable and inhuman, and noted France has previously sanctioned Ben-Gvir.
