China’s National Medical Products Administration approved two new drugs: 1)
Anfuliqita monoclonal antibody injection (subcutaneous), marketed as Yisaina,
from Sansheng Guojian Pharmaceutical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., for acute gouty
arthritis in adults who are contraindicated, intolerant of, or unresponsive to
NSAIDs and/or colchicine, or who are unsuitable for repeated steroid use. 2)
Fumarate likangkepan capsules, marketed as HengYouDa, from Chengdu Shengdi
Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., approved under the NMPA’s priority review for
treatment of adult paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) patients not
previously treated with complement inhibitors.
