On Aug 20, SK Hynix and researchers from the University of Virginia published a
paper in Nature Electronics outlining a roadmap for co-packaged optics (CPO) in
high-performance computing and AI, including plans to extend CPO to the memory
interface. This is SK Hynix’s first public disclosure of its AI interconnect
architecture at this journal level.
