On the 19th Bulgaria’s defense minister Dimitar Stoyanov said he had noted
Financial Times reporting that Iran might target US military facilities in
southeastern Europe, but Bulgarian intelligence shows no sign of a direct
threat. He told national television he had contacted the national intelligence
service and received a report the previous day indicating the risk of an Iranian
strike on US facilities in Bulgaria was very low.
