[Director Zheng Shanjie Chairs Symposium for Private Enterprises to Solicit Opinions and Suggestions on Stabilizing Economic Operation and Promoting Effective Investment] On August 20, Zheng Shanjie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), chaired a symposium to solicit opinions and suggestions from private enterprises on stabilizing economic operation and promoting effective investment. Representatives from five companies—TEGO Electric, Chutian Technology, Yuchun Technology, Thunderbird Innovation, and Erdos Resources—in the electrical equipment, pharmaceutical equipment, consumer services, smart terminals, textile and apparel, and metallurgical and chemical industries, participated in the symposium. Zheng Shanjie stated that the NDRC will thoroughly implement the spirit of the Political Bureau meeting of the CPC Central Committee, follow the deployment of the 12th plenary meeting of the State Council, fully leverage the effectiveness of existing policies, promptly plan and introduce practical and effective incremental policies, coordinate the promotion of major projects in the "15th Five-Year Plan" outline and the "Six Networks" planning and construction, solidly advance the construction of "two major projects" and "two new" initiatives, improve the long-term mechanism for private enterprises to participate in the construction of major national projects, further break down hidden barriers, expand the opening of application scenarios, strengthen factor support, protect legitimate rights and interests, fully stimulate the vitality of private investment, and promote the continuous development of the economy towards new, better, and more positive directions.
