Anthropic plans to give enterprise customers greater control over data used with
its most capable AI models, a major shift from its prior data-retention policy.
The company will continue to require a 30-day retention period but will let
clients store data on their own cloud infrastructure instead of Anthropic’s. A
source said Anthropic expects to roll out a new security system later this year;
the system has been in development for months.
