Chongqing municipal government issued its 15th Five-Year (2026–2030) Beautiful
Chongqing plan, directing low-carbon upgrades of transport equipment: accelerate
new-energy vehicle adoption, electrify public-sector fleets, and promote
battery-electric and hydrogen fuel-cell commercial vehicles; construct
zero-carbon transport corridors; retire and replace aged commercial vessels and
promote new-energy/clean-energy ships; retrofit existing transport
infrastructure for energy and carbon reductions and build a batch of low-carbon
stations, berths and highway service areas.
